BGAN, which stands for Broadband Global Area Network, is a satellite network provided by Inmarsat consisting of multiple GEO satellites, that cover most regions of the world.
With a BGAN terminal and a subscription, you can connect to the internet from practically anywhere on the planet.
The terminals use a directional antenna, making them very easy to set up. To connect to BGAN, you can use a simple smartphone software APP.
We offer a variety of BGAN terminals, including the Hughes 9211-Class 1 terminal, which offers speeds of up to 650 Kbps, HDR streaming, and is rugged and durable with an IP65 rating.
It comes with an AC/DC adapter power supply, two batteries, and data-only connections including USB, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, and RJ45.
The Hughes 9201-Class 1 terminal offers speeds of up to 492 Kbps and comes with an AC/DC adapter power supply, two batteries, and data-only connections including USB, Wi-Fi 802.11b, and RJ45. It weighs 2.8 kg and costs +/-$2,500 USD ex-work, it needs our satellite subscription to operate.
